The MIRABEL project receives smart grid award
Researchers from the EU FP7 MIRABEL project have received the Best Poster Award at the World Smart Grid Forum 2013 in Berlin. The authors of the corresponding paper “MIRABEL – Efficiently managing more renewable energy using explicit demand and supply flexibilities” are Andreas Doms from SAP, Germany, Zoran Marinzek from INEA, Slovenia, and Daisy Professor Torben Bach Pedersen.
The MIRABEL project has developed a very powerful technology for managing and utilizing the flexibilities in energy supply and demand using so-called “flex-offers”, which is currently being integrated with household appliances and distribution grids in the Totalflex project, financed by Energinet.dk.
