Daisy in new international Doctoral School on Business Intelligence
Daisy Professor Torben Bach Pedersen and a group of 4 partners have just received a grant for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate in Information Technologies for Business Intelligence (IT4BI-DC).
The other four partners are Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Prof. Esteban Zimanyi, coordinator), TU Dresden, Germany (Prof. Wolfgang Lehner), Universita Politecnica Catalunya, Spain (Prof. Alberto Abello), and Poznan University of Technology, Poland (Prof. Robert Wrembel).
The total grant from the EU is up to 6.7 mio. euro, covering up to 50 Ph.D. scholarships and operating costs. On top of this, the partners aim to double the number of Ph.D.’s graduated from the program through external funds.
Candidates will be enrolled at two universities and get a joint Ph.D. degree from both universities. This means that up to 30-40 Ph.D. are expected to graduate from AAU within the business intelligence area within the next 8 years.
